How to choose the right size for JOBST compression products - STEP-BY-STEP measurement. The therapeutic effect of medical compression products depends largely on the correct selection of the products themselves, therefore it is essential that they are suitable. The measurement should be taken in the morning, when the legs are less swollen than during the day. Step 1: Measure the circumference of your leg at the points indicated in the table: cB – circumference of the leg at the narrowest point just above the ankle, cB1 – circumference of the calf in its lower part (halfway between the center of the calf and the ankle, i.e. points cB and cC), cC – circumference of the calf at its widest point, cD – circumference below the knee (two fingers below the kneecap). Step 2 : Measure the length of your leg (LD size), which is the length from the base of your foot to two fingers below your kneecap. Step 3 : Remember to measure both legs on which you will use the compression stocking and write down the measurements for one and the other leg respectively. Step 4 : Compare your measurements with the size chart below and choose the correct size. You should choose a size that most closely matches the dimensions listed in the table when measuring.
