Itioxide Pet Foam Description Veterinary product based on ichthyol and micronized zinc oxide with astringent, soothing, and antiseptic properties. Thanks to its barrier foaming properties, it protects the skin of dogs and cats from bacterial and fungal contamination. This non-toxic, easy-to-apply foam causes no discomfort to the animal. Useful in the treatment of dermatitis complicated by bacteria, such as furunculosis, folliculitis, abscesses, and superficial ulcers. It works by facilitating the healing of suppurative skin lesions, restoring normal skin conditions. Property Ichthyol, thanks to the activity of sulfur, has keratoplastic, antiseptic, antiseborrheic, anti-inflammatory, and decongestant properties. Zinc oxide has a soothing, healing, and anti-inflammatory effect, capable of attracting and activating cellular elements responsible for wound healing. Components Ammonium sulfoichthyol, mallow extract, salicylic acid, eucalyptus and lemon essential oils, chlorhexidine, rice starch, zinc oxide. How to use Distribute the foam evenly over the animals entire body, in the ears, or just on the affected areas, promoting penetration. If the animal is not shaved, rub an appropriate amount of product against the grain, so that the skin and fur are moist. Do not rinse or dry with cloths or paper towels. Repeat the application initially twice daily, then once daily or at longer intervals at the discretion of the veterinarian until complete remission. Brush before each application.
