The 0.9% isotonic saline solution, with added ectoine, contained in the Isonebial vials is useful for daily nasal cleansing, particularly for stuffy or dry noses. It softens mucus, promoting its elimination, and restores proper hydration to dry or crusted nasal mucosa, improving breathing. The ectoine in Isonebial, thanks to its high capacity to bind water molecules, has a protective and hydrating effect that soothes irritated nasal mucosa. The Isonebial kit allows for nebulization of the 0.9% isotonic saline solution using the Spray-sol medical device (patented exclusively by Steve Jones srl). The Isonebial kit is indicated for daily nasal cleansing. The solution contained in single-dose vials can be administered via Spray-sol or aerosol therapy. Spray-sol is a medical device specifically designed for topical treatments of the nasal and sinus cavities and allows for rapid administration of the solution via nebulization in particles between 10 and 20 microns, suitable for treating the upper airways. Thanks to its specially designed shape, it fits ergonomically in a childs nostril, but can also be used by adults. How to use To use the Isonebial kit correctly you need to: - detach a single-dose vial and warm it between your hands before administering the solution; - open the bottle by twisting the cap, connect it to the syringe included in the package and draw up the solution to be nebulized; - screw the syringe, filled with the solution to be nebulized, onto the appropriate inlet nozzle of the Spray-sol nebulizer; - In infants and young children (under 3 years of age, however, it depends on their level of cooperation), it is necessary to wash while lying on one side, keeping the head tilted to one side and gently inserting Spray-sol into the upper nostril. Push the syringe plunger to nebulize the solution; - for older children and adults, hold your torso forward with your head slightly tilted to one side and insert Spray-sol into the upper nostril. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and contact your doctor. Do not use for more than 30 consecutive days, or consult your doctor. Do not use in case of known incompatibility or allergy to any component of the preparation. When using the aerosol solution, it is recommended to follow the instructions for the device. After use, close the bottle immediately. Do not use after the expiration date. The expiration date indicated refers to the intact and properly stored product. Before each use, check that the syringe and Spray-sol devices are not damaged; if they are damaged, do not use them for nebulization. Spray-sol is intended for a single patient, but can be reused for multiple nebulizations. Before reuse, clean it properly. Use Spray-sol as long as mechanical integrity and ability to atomize the solution is maintained. Place the syringe in its container after each use as it is intended for multiple use.
