These reactions manifest as intense itching, redness, swelling, and papules or blisters on the exposed areas of skin. The sunscreen Solar Allergy Protect SPF 50+ helps prevent skin reactions in skin prone to sun allergy and other forms of photodermatosis. Very high broad-spectrum UV protection (SPF50+) and ectoin make this water-resistant sunscreen the perfect companion for allergy sufferers. 1% Ectoin protects DNA and cells from UV damage, soothes irritated skin and simultaneously increases the skins resistance to sun exposure. The light sunscreen fluid absorbs quickly and is formulated to be water-resistant, hypoallergenic and mineral oil-free. It is suitable for all skin types, even for special skin needs such as oily skin and combination skin. Application: Begin treatment 15-30 days before sun exposure. Apply throughout your time in the sun. Apply generously to the affected skin areas twice daily. Reapply every 2 hours during direct sun exposure. Precautions: Apply sunscreen only to clean, intact skin. Patients undergoing treatment with photosensitizing medications are advised to use FotoUltra ISDIN® Solar Allergy sunscreen throughout the entire treatment. Apply at least 20 minutes before applying any other dermatological product. There are no data available on the use of FotoUltra Solar Allergy in pregnant women, during breastfeeding, and in children.
