The active form of folic acid – 5-MTHF folate (calcium L-methylfolate) – is easily absorbed even by people who do not metabolize folic acid. The small 4 ml bottle is equipped with a dropper, which facilitates precise measurement of the recommended number of drops depending on the childs age. Importantly, the preparation is free from milk proteins, lactose, and gluten, making it suitable for individuals with intolerance to these ingredients.
