HyperNase NASAL SPRAY ADULT Description Hypertonic buffered solution containing 3% sodium chloride and 0.1% hyaluronic acid, indicated for decongestion of the nasal mucosa and for the thinning of mucus in cases of colds and other rhinopathies characterised by the typical symptoms: - nasal congestion; - clear, yellow-green or white discharge from the nose; - sneezing. HYPERNASE solution for aerosol therapy can be used to dilute medications for the treatment of rhinological conditions; in this case, carefully follow the instructions on the packaging of the medication to be diluted or the doctors instructions. Decongestion of the nasal mucosa and fluidification of the mucus present in the nasal cavities. The hypertonic 3% sodium chloride solution exerts an osmotic action on the surface of the nasal mucosa, thinning mucus and promoting the release of fluids that cause swelling. High molecular weight hyaluronic acid protects the nasal mucosa through its barrier effect and promotes the restoration of mucociliary clearance. How to use Adults (>12 years): spray 2-3 times per nostril several times a day (usually 3-4) until symptoms disappear or as advised by a doctor. Additional notes: The duration of treatment can be adapted based on clinical response and symptoms, however, the minimum duration of treatment is five days: shorter treatments do not guarantee a tangible effect. For nasal spray (children and adults) 1. Blow your nose to remove any mucus or debris to allow the product to effectively reach the nasal areas. 2. Remove the dispenser safety cap and protective cap. 3. Prime the pump by pressing 2-3 times until you obtain a regular nebulization. 4. Gently insert the spray nozzle into one nostril, keeping your head upright and tilted slightly forward. 5. Press the spray once while slowly inhaling through your nose. 6. Repeat in the other nostril following the same procedure. Do not exhale or blow your nose immediately after application to avoid dispersing the product (wait 10-15 minutes). Use by children must be supervised or assisted by an adult. Components Functional substances: 3% sodium chloride, 0.1% sodium hyaluronate 350-1,150 KDa (hyaluronic acid sodium salt). Excipients: purified water FU, mint flavouring, eucalyptol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, monosodium sodium phosphate dihydrate (or citric acid monohydrate), disodium sodium phosphate dodecahydrate (or sodium citrate dihydrate). Warnings - Carry out all administration operations delicately, avoiding inserting the tip of the dispenser too deeply into the nostrils and maintaining an upright position during use. - Close the bottle tightly after each application. - Store the product away from light and direct heat sources. - If persistent or severe side effects occur, discontinue use and consult your doctor or pharmacist. - For children, use must be carried out under adult supervision. Contraindications: - hypersensitivity (allergy) to any of the components of the product; - use in subjects with untreated viral or bacterial upper respiratory tract infections; - use in children under the indicated age or in the presence of conditions that require specific medical evaluation. It may occur: - burning in the nostrils immediately after administration. The rarer effects are: - irritation of the throat and palate; - sneezing and tearing; - small nosebleeds (epistaxis), especially in subjects with nasal vascular fragility. If persistent or severe side effects occur, discontinue use and consult your doctor or pharmacist. All operations must be performed delicately: avoid inserting the tip of the dispenser too deeply into the nostrils and maintain an upright position during application. After each administration: - close the bottle tightly; - do not expose to direct light; - keep away from heat sources. Specific warnings: - The aerosol solution must be administered exclusively through a micronized nasal douche. Do not use nebulizers with masks or specific mouthpieces to treat the lower respiratory tract. - do not use the product after the expiry date; - HYPERNASE solution is not sterile and is not injectable; - keep the product out of the reach and sight of children; - do not use the product if the bottle is not intact and well sealed.
