HYLO NIGHT Description Sterile ophthalmic ointment for ophthalmic use. HYLO NIGHT protects the ocular surface and stabilizes the tear film. HYLO NIGHT is an ophthalmic ointment that, thanks to its special composition, is easily applied to the ocular surface. The vitamin A it contains is a natural constituent of the tear film, which promotes good tolerability of the ophthalmic ointment and ensures complete mixing with tears. It relieves the sensation of burning, dryness, or tired eyes. Finally, it facilitates the gliding of the eyelids over the corneal and conjunctival surfaces. Components 1 g HYLO NIGHT contains 250 IU retinol palmitate (vitamin A), paraffin, light liquid paraffin, lanolin and white petrolatum. How to use Use in air-conditioned environments, such as in cars or airplanes, in windy, cold, or intense sunlight. Even stale air or cigarette smoke often causes dry or itchy eyes, with a relative sensation of dryness or a foreign body sensation. These symptoms can also be caused by excessive visual stress, such as working for too long at the computer, watching television, or driving at night. The risk of these eye problems is even higher if you wear contact lenses. HYLO NIGHT relieves these symptoms by creating an adequate and long-lasting protective film on the eyes. The oily consistency of the ointment causes a mild and temporary alteration in vision, so it is best to apply HYLO NIGHT in the evening before going to sleep. HYLO NIGHT can also prevent any discomfort caused by opening the eyes for the first time upon awakening. Ophthalmic ointments should be used avoiding contact of the dispenser nozzle with the eye or skin. Use HYLO NIGHT only if the pouch seal was intact before first use. Unscrew the cap covering the dispensing spout. 1) Tilt your head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid with your finger. 2) With your other hand, hold the tube vertically above your eye. Spread a strip of ointment into the conjunctival sac, applying gentle pressure to the tube. 3) Close your eyelids gently then blink normally. Put the cap back on the tube. To avoid contamination, avoid contact of the dispensing nozzle with the eye or any other surface. The frequency of use depends on your personal habits and needs. HYLO NIGHT can be used in addition to lubricating eye drops and is applied once a day in the evening before bed. For more severe dryness, HYLO NIGHT is generally applied three times a day to each eye. For more frequent use of HYLO NIGHT, consult your eye doctor. There are no limits on the duration of treatment. Warnings Using HYLO NIGHT during the day may cause slight visual impairment due to the ointments greasy consistency. If this occurs, you should avoid driving, operating machinery, or working without a stable base. HYLO NIGHT should not be used simultaneously with other ophthalmic medicinal products. In these cases, HYLO NIGHT should be used at least 30 minutes after applying other medicinal products to the eye. To dispense the ointment, apply gentle pressure to the tube without bending or rolling it. Based on the latest data, HYLO NIGHT can also be used in children, pregnant women, or breastfeeding women. Use one HYLO NIGHT pack per individual patient. In very rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions such as redness, burning, itching, or excessive tearing have been reported, which improved immediately after discontinuing treatment with HYLO NIGHT. HYLO NIGHT should not be used in cases of known individual hypersensitivity to any of the products components. HYLO NIGHT should not be applied while wearing contact lenses. HYLO NIGHT should not be used immediately after ophthalmic surgery or following acute eye injuries, as there are no clinical studies for this purpose. Conservation Do not store above 25°C. If stored properly, HYLO NIGHT can be used for up to 6 months after first opening. Do not use HYLO NIGHT after the expiry date. Keep HYLO NIGHT out of reach of children.
