Product description Indications: Moisturizing eye drops with ectoine. Properties: Hylo-Dual lubricating eye drops with ectoine are a sterile, preservative-free solution containing 0.5 mg/ml sodium hyaluronate, 20 mg/ml ectoine, a borate buffer, and water. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the eye and other parts of the body. It has unique physical properties, creating a uniform, stable tear film that lasts long on the eyes surface and is resistant to washout. Ectoine, on the other hand, is a natural substance obtained from microorganisms living in extreme conditions (e.g., salt lakes). Application: Hylo-Protect should be dosed individually, as recommended by an ophthalmologist. The usual dose for adults and children over 6 years of age is 1 drop 3 times daily into the conjunctival sac of each eye. If you use the drops more frequently (e.g., more than 10 times daily) or if your symptoms are more severe, you should have regular examinations by an ophthalmologist.
