HydroTac® border multisite The hydrophilic foam dressing keeps dry wounds moist and moist wounds dry. This wound dressing features a surrounding adhesive border coated with polyacrylate. This border has incisions that allow for better adaptation to body contours. Therefore, no secondary dressing is required for fixation. IM = Internal dimension Foam dressing with a wound-side, net-shaped hydrogel layer and a water vapor-permeable, liquid- and germ-proof polyurethane cover film. The absorbent foam quickly absorbs excess wound exudate without drying out the wound. In relatively dry wounds, the hydrogel releases moisture and supports the formation and maintenance of a moist wound environment, thereby promoting granulation and epithelialization. The dressing is soft and supple, has good cushioning properties, and can be removed with minimal pain. Available in various designs and sizes. HydroTherapy HydroTherapy enables moist wound therapy with just two products – HydroClean and HydroTac – which is also easy to perform in home wound care. Application: For the treatment of low to moderately exuding wounds from the middle of the granulation phase until complete wound closure; e.g., in cases of leg ulcers, diabetic foot syndrome, and pressure ulcers, for the treatment of burns up to grade 2a, and for the treatment of split-thickness skin graft donor sites after adequate hemostasis, also applicable under compression. HydroTac sacral is used for ductal ulcers in the sacral region, and HydroTac concave is used on the heel or elbow.
