Characteristics: - hypoallergenic adhesive, gentle on the skin; - permeable to air and water vapor and impermeable to water and germs; - effectively protects against germs, without restricting skin functions; - prevents skin irritation around the wound; - does not stick to the wound and changes atraumatically; - the transparent material allows inspection of the areas around the wound. Indications: - protection against secondary infections and mechanical irritation in the case of dry wounds (e.g. burns) or with minimal secretions and those that are almost healed; - fixing catheters and cannulas; - secondary dressing for fixing and covering compresses; - allows patients to shower during dressing (it is waterproof).
