presteril Honey PRO Description Hydroactive healing plasters. Sterile, waterproof adhesive dressing with medical-grade honey-based hydroactive gel. The HoneyPRO formulation has an anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effect, creating a moist environment that stimulates epithelialization and reduces scar formation. This facilitates the autolysis of necrotic and devitalized material, contributing to the preparation of the wound bed and promoting better migration of epithelial cells. The hydroactive gel is also highly absorbent (over 700% of fluids in 24 hours) and, thanks to humidity, creates a protective cushion that reduces rubbing and friction, for optimal comfort. Minor burns, acute and chronic wounds, superficial cuts, blisters, grazes, lacerations, abrasions, and other minor wounds. Suitable for use on adults, children, and infants. How to use 1. Clean, disinfect and dry the affected area thoroughly. 2. Remove the patch from the package by removing one of the two protective flaps. Apply the first half of the patch, making sure the pad covers the wound, then remove the second protective flap. 3. Apply the patch, applying light pressure for a few moments to ensure perfect adhesion. 4. Remove the protective film with the Presteril logo. 5. Renew the dressing when necessary. The patch can be left in place for several days (3-5 days), depending on the amount of exudate and the condition of the wound, which must be checked regularly. Warnings Do not use on patients with known sensitivity to the dressing or any of its components. 1. Do not use if package is opened or damaged. Do not use after the expiration date. 2. Consult a doctor if you feel further intervention is necessary for appropriate wound treatment. 3. Before use, check and clean the wound according to reference protocols. 4. Due to autolytic debridement (the destruction of dead or infected cells), the wound may appear to increase in size after the first few dressing changes. This is normal and occurs as devitalized tissue is removed to prepare the wound bed for healing. 5. Seek medical attention if the patient shows signs of infection (fever, pain) or if the condition of the lesion worsens. 6. Each Presteril dressing is intended for single use only. Used product must be disposed of according to local regulations. 7. Due to the use of natural ingredients, each batch of patches may have a different color (white, yellow, brown); however, this will not affect the effectiveness and/or application of the patch. 8. In case of a serious accident involving the product, report it to the manufacturer and the competent authority. Conservation Store at a temperature between 5°C and 30°C.
