It allows qualitative and differential detection of these viruses from a self-collected nasal swab sample. The non-prescription medical device is intended for home use. It can be performed on adults, adolescents and children over 2 years of age with or without symptoms. It is recommended to perform the test within 7 days of the onset of symptoms. Because of these, when an influenza A, influenza B, RSV or SARS-CoV-2 virus antigen is present in the sample, it combines with the corresponding antibodies present on the nitrocellulose membrane. Then a line appears on the test strip in the corresponding field marked T1 or T2.
