Voyage dHermès is a unisex fragrance from the French fashion house Hermès. It seduces with its mystery and ambiguity. Jean-Claude Ellena created the Voyage dHermès perfume. He wanted to create an abstract, paradoxical scent. One that wasnt unambiguously masculine or feminine, nor evoke specific associations. Voyage dHermès was meant to be simultaneously familiar and surprising, energizing and comfortable. Jean-Claude hopes that when people smell his perfume, they wont wonder what it reminds them of, but where it will take them. Therefore, although the French brands website states that the primary notes of Voyage are wood and musk, in practice, when we smell it, well be struck primarily by its purity and freshness, not the presence of any specific ingredient.
