Description: Therapeutic gel based on horse chestnut extract (Aesculus Hippocastanum) for people suffering from varicose veins. Horse chestnut is a relatively young medicinal plant as it appeared in our area only at the end of the 17th century. The active substances of horse chestnut are escin, esculin, flavonoid glycosides and tannins. The plant fragments used to obtain the extract are flower, fruit, seeds and young bark. Escin strengthens the walls of venous vessels and increases their elasticity, helping to reduce swelling. The gel can also be used to soothe the skin around hemorrhoids. How to use: Apply gently to the selected area several times a day. Never massage with too much pressure. Do not use on mucous membranes and open wounds. To increase the effect, apply a larger amount of the product to the surface and leave for a longer time (e.g. overnight).
