It is a brace for centering and securing the patella using an adjustable corrective strap. Please strictly adhere to the instructions you received when purchasing the GenuTrain P3, as well as the user manual. Improper use or unauthorized modification of the product can cause damage and void the warranty. The bandage is most effective during physical activity. Remove the bandage during extended periods of rest – e.g., sleeping or prolonged sitting. Avoid contact with greasy and acidic products, ointments and lotions. All aids applied externally to the body can, if they fit too tightly, lead to local pressure sores or, in rare cases, constrict blood vessels or nerves. If you notice any unusual changes in connection with the use of the GenuTrain P3 – e.g., an increase in symptoms – discontinue use and consult a doctor immediately. The GenuTrain P3 active support cannot mechanically prevent the kneecap from dislocating again (patellar luxation) as a result of external force. Contains natural rubber latex (elastodiene), which may cause skin irritation in cases of hypersensitivity. Remove the bandage if you experience any allergic reaction. Contraindications: No systemic side effects are currently known. However, the use of this product is only recommended after consulting your doctor if you have the following medical conditions: Skin diseases/injuries in the treated area of ​​the body, especially in cases of inflammation, as well as raised scars, swelling, redness and increased warmth. Varicose veins (varicosis) Sensory disturbances of the leg due to neurological changes Circulatory disorders of the leg (e.g. in diabetes mellitus) Lymphatic drainage disorders and unexplained soft tissue swelling Instructions for use: Invest: Grasp the bandage on both sides at the upper end of the lateral spiral stays and slide it over the knee joint so that the kneecap is enclosed by the massage pad without pressure. Adjust the position of the bandage if necessary. Securing the kneecap in the desired position: To optimally position the kneecap, bend your leg slightly (max. 20°). Release the pull tab from the hook-and-loop fastener on the inside of the brace. Pull it diagonally upwards until the kneecap is in the desired, comfortable position. Reattach the end of the pull tab within the hook-and-loop fastener area. Take off: To remove the bandage, please pull on both sides at the bottom edge of the bandage in the area of ​​the stays. To avoid damaging the product, do not turn the bandage inside out! Cleaning instructions: Please use a mild detergent and a laundry bag. Never expose your product to direct heat or cold. Also, refer to the care label sewn into the top of your garment. Please note the following information: Secure the end of the rein in the designated position.
