Although dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing Haakaa silicone products with hot water and soap, then rinsing thoroughly. Dishwasher use can cause the silicone to become milky. Do not use harsh chemicals such as sterilizing tablets or bleach. Sterilize Haakaa silicone products after each use, ideally in a steam sterilizer or by boiling them in hot water for 2-3 minutes.
