Gelocast® - Zinc gel bandage for effective leg therapy The Gelocast® zinc gel dressing provides helpful support in decongestive therapy for traumatic or venous leg conditions. With a cellulose base and variants like Gelocast® elastic, which is longitudinally elastic, these zinc gel dressings contribute to venous return through their low resting pressure and high working pressure. They are used in both phlebological and orthopedic applications. Application of Gelocast® products Gelocast® is made of 100% cotton and coated with a zinc gel mass based on hydroxyethylcellulose. The elastic version, Gelocast® elastic, contains 71% viscose and 29% polyamide, also coated with this gel mass. These dressings are not only age-resistant but also provide reliable support for patients with specific therapeutic needs.
