Description Fypryst is a proven veterinary medicinal product in the form of a spot-on solution, designed to effectively combat and prevent infestations of the most common external parasites in dogs. It provides long-lasting protection against fleas and ticks, and eliminates lice. Its formula is also suitable for use in the treatment and control of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD), bringing relief to your dog. Package contents 1 × Fypryst pipette with a capacity of 2.68 ml Each 2.68 ml pipette contains: Active substance: Fipronil 268 mg. Excipients: Butylhydroxyanisole (E320) 0.54 mg, Butylhydroxytoluene (E321) 0.27 mg. Product purpose This product is intended for the treatment and prevention of flea, tick, and lice infestations in dogs weighing 20 to 40 kg. It is also used in the treatment of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD). Product characteristics Fypryst contains the active ingredient fipronil, an effective and widely used insecticide and acaricide. It acts on the nervous system of parasites, leading to their paralysis and death. The product provides effective protection against fleas for up to two months and against ticks for up to four weeks, depending on environmental pressure. Fleas are killed within 24 hours of infestation. The spot-on solution is easy and convenient to apply, and the product can be safely used on pregnant and lactating bitches, as well as on animals intended for breeding. Product use Remove the pipette from the packaging. Holding it vertically, twist off the tip and remove it. Turn the tip over and insert it through the top of the pipette. Part the fur on your dogs back, between the shoulder blades, to expose the skin. Place the tip of the pipette against the skin and squeeze it several times to release the entire contents directly onto the skin. Notes and precautions Do not use on puppies under 8 weeks of age and/or weighing less than 2 kg. Do not use on sick or convalescing animals. This product is intended for dogs only – do not use on cats or rabbits. The minimum interval between treatments is 4 weeks. Avoid bathing your dog for 2 days after application. Avoid contact of the product with the animals eyes. Wash your hands after application. Dogs should not swim in waterways for 2 days after application.
