The product protects dogs from ticks, fleas, and flying insects such as mosquitoes, sandflies, tiger mosquitoes, and biting flies. FRONTLINE TRI-ACT - Dog L 20-40 kg as a spot-on solution The product is applied as a solution to the skin (spot on). FRONTLINE TRI-ACT is effective against parasites for up to one month after application and can be used on dogs weighing 5 kg or more. Additionally, the product offers protection against new types of parasites such as sandflies and tiger mosquitoes and reduces the risk of transmissible diseases such as leishmaniasis, ehrlichiosis and babesiosis. FRONTLINE TRI-ACT - Dog L 20-40 kg: Mode of action on the dogs skin After application, FRONTLINE TRI-ACT spreads over the entire surface of the dogs body within one to two days, using the skins natural sebum film. This creates an invisible outer protective layer against parasites. Ticks, fleas, and flying insects such as mosquitoes and biting flies are repelled before they can bite. Protection is also provided against the tiger mosquito, which is mostly found in the south but is increasingly being observed in Germany as well. Note: This veterinary medicinal product has been specially developed for dogs. Do not use on cats or rabbits. FRONTLINE TRI-ACT - Dog L 20-40 kg - How to use correctly Unless otherwise prescribed by a veterinarian, FRONTLINE TRI-ACT - Dog L 20-40 kg is applied once a month. For continuous, optimal protection, application should be repeated regularly every 4 weeks. Remove the pre-dosed pipette from the packaging and cut off the tip of the pipette. Part the dogs fur at two points on the back of the neck and empty the pipette halfway onto the dogs skin, first at the first point, then at the second. From these application points, the active ingredient will spread over the entire dogs skin within one to two days, forming an invisible protective film.
