Frontline Combo Spot On spreads through your pets skin structures via sebum, completely coating the dogs fur and skin. It is stored in the sebaceous glands, forming a reservoir that lasts for several weeks. Furthermore, it offers dual protection for dogs by preventing the contamination of the animals environment with flea eggs and larvae. Its formula includes an adulticide molecule for adult fleas and a molecule that eliminates immature forms (eggs and larvae). Its insecticidal efficacy against new infestations of adult fleas lasts for eight weeks and prevents flea multiplication by inhibiting the development of eggs (ovicidal activity) and larvae and pupae (larvicidal activity). USAGE AND SPECIFICATIONS Antiparasitic treatment that prevents and eliminates fleas, ticks, and lice on your pets skin and coat. It is especially indicated for dogs weighing over 40 kg, as it extends the period of action by preventing the hatching of eggs and larvae of these pests. Recommended use period: The minimum treatment interval is four weeks. Instructions for use: Part the fur on the animals back at the base of the neck, in front of the shoulder blades, until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze it several times to empty its contents completely onto the skin. Apply the product to an area where the animal cannot lick itself or where another animal cannot lick it. Precautions for use This product should not be used on puppies under eight weeks of age and/or puppies weighing less than 2 kg. Do not use on sick (systemic disease, fever) or convalescent animals. Do not use on rabbits. Do not use dog formulations on cats, as this could lead to overdosing. Avoid bathing/immersion in water for two days after applying the product, and do not bathe your pet more than once a week. Emollient shampoos may be used before treatment, but these reduce the duration of flea protection by approximately five weeks when used weekly after application. One bath per week with a 2% chlorhexidine medicated shampoo does not affect flea efficacy. Do not smoke, eat, or drink while applying this product. This product may cause eye and mucous membrane irritation. Avoid contact of the product with the mouth and eyes. Animals or human handlers with known hypersensitivity to insecticides or alcohol should avoid contact with Frontline Combo Spot-on. Avoid contact of this medication with your fingers. If this occurs, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. After accidental eye exposure, rinse the eye gently with clean water. Wash your hands after using this product. Treated animals should not be touched until the application site is dry. We recommend applying the treatment to animals at dusk rather than during the day, and that recently treated animals do not sleep with their owners, especially children.
