Description Flax seeds ( Lini semen ) - herbs for infusion. Composition The active ingredient of the product is flax seeds ( Lini semen ) 100 g contains 100 g of flax seeds Dosage Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any further questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Adults and children over 12 years : internally, drink 1 glass of fresh and warm decoction 2-3 times a day. Preparation of decoction: pour 1 glass of water (250 ml) over half to 1 tablespoon of seeds (5 - 10 g) and boil for 15 minutes, cool, strain. Action A decoction of flax seeds has a coating and soothing effect on the mucous membranes of the digestive tract. Indications Flax seeds are used as a support in mild digestive tract ailments (discomfort) and as a protective agent. Contraindications When not to use Flax seeds : when you have intestinal obstruction of any origin, a sudden change in stool habits lasting longer than 2 weeks (e.g. pencil-shaped stools), narrowing of the esophagus, cardia or other part of the digestive tract, problems swallowing, hypersensitivity to flax seeds. Side effects Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Flatulence, very rarely allergic reactions. Warnings and precautions Contact your doctor immediately if you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty swallowing or breathing after taking this medicine. Do not use under 12 years of age. If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 1 week of using the product, contact your doctor. The preparation should not be used in case of: constipation, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. The preparation is not recommended for use in women suffering from hormone-dependent cancers due to the estrogenic effect of flax seeds. Store in closed containers at a temperature not exceeding 30oC. Protect from light, moisture and foreign odors. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Use of other medications Please tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the medicines you are taking, have recently taken or might take, including medicines obtained without a prescription. Pregnancy and breastfeeding If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, consult your doctor before use. Flax seeds may have estrogenic effects. Use of the drug in children and adolescents Do not use under 12 years of age.
