Roll and compress the cork with your fingers until you obtain a smooth, crease-free cylinder. 2. To ensure the earplug fits snugly, place one hand over your head and gently pull your ear up and out. 3. Insert the compressed, rounded end of the plug into the ear canal. The pointed end should go in first. 4. Wait a few seconds for the earplug to expand. When inserted correctly, it should not protrude from the ear. An incorrect insertion will not provide complete protection. Removal: To avoid damaging the ear canal, remove the plug by gently twisting it and slowly pulling it out of the ear canal. Warnings Earplugs must be worn, adjusted, and stored according to the instructions. Failure to follow these instructions may seriously compromise their performance and protection.
