Description Fervex Pain and Fever C Plus is a medicinal product with analgesic and antipyretic effects, additionally supporting the immune system thanks to the vitamin C contained in the drug. This drug can be used for the symptomatic treatment of pain and fever. Composition The active substances of the drug are: paracetamol ( Paracetamolum ) and vitamin C ( Acidum ascorbicum ). One effervescent tablet contains 330 mg of paracetamol ( Paracetamolum ) and 200 mg of ascorbic acid ( Acidum ascorbicum ). Excipients: potassium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate, sorbitol (E420), anhydrous citric acid, sodium benzoate (E211), sodium docusate, povidone. Dosage Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any further questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Fervex Pain and Fever C Plus is used in the form of a solution. 1 effervescent tablet dissolves in half a glass of water. Adolescents over 12 years of age, adults: 1 tablet every 4-6 hours. Do not take more than 3 tablets per day. Action Fervex Pain and Fevers C Plus contains 2 active substances that are responsible for the following effects: paracetamol - analgesic and antipyretic effect; vitamin C - supports immunity during viral infections, replenishes vitamin C deficiency. Indications Indications for use: Pain of mild and moderate intensity of various origins (headache, toothache, joint pain, muscle pain, menstrual pain, neuralgia and others); Symptomatic treatment of flu-like conditions and colds; Fever. Contraindications Do not use Fervex Pain and Fevers C Plus: if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of this medicine; if you have diseases/ailments such as: severe renal failure, viral hepatitis, alcoholism, urolithiasis, phenylketonuria (the medicine contains aspartame), congenital G6PD deficiency; if you are using: MAO inhibitors (MAOI; or have been using them within the last 2 weeks), zidovudine; in pregnant and lactating women; in children under 12 years of age. Side effects Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Warnings and precautions Caution should be exercised in patients with renal failure, hepatic failure, bronchial asthma, and hemochromatosis. Do not use other medicinal products containing paracetamol concurrently with Fervex Pain and Fever C Plus. Fervex Pain and Fever C Plus contains aspartame - it is a source of phenylalanine. The drug is a source of sodium - this should be taken into account by people on a low-sodium diet. Store the medicine at a temperature below 25°C. Keep the medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Use of other medications Please tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the medicines you are taking, have recently taken or might take, including medicines obtained without a prescription. Fervex Pain and Fever C Plus may interact with: anticoagulants; zidovudine; antiepileptic drugs (carbamazepine, phenytoin); sedatives, sleeping pills; drugs containing aluminum, iron. Taking the medicine with food and drink The drug may be less well absorbed if taken with food. While taking Fervex Pain and Fever C Plus, you should not drink alcohol due to the risk of liver damage. Pregnancy and breastfeeding If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. Impact on laboratory tests Fervex Pain and Fever C Plus may falsify the results of determining glucose and creatinine concentrations. Use of the drug in children and adolescents Not to be used in children under 12 years of age.
