The composition and resistance of the material allow for circular application, and its tensile strength allows it to be applied to particularly difficult areas (elbows, heels, etc.). The beneficial properties of the synthetic Lenosoft are not lost even with prolonged use. Due to its natural properties, the material has an adhesive effect that facilitates application, requiring simple manual dexterity. Once applied, it maintains a smooth layer of uniform thickness, preventing pressure points that could create local circulation problems. Permeable to air, Lenosoft compensates for temperature as the fibers do not absorb moisture, and in a rigid bandage, it facilitates the adhesion of the cast. Lenosoft is not a sterile product; Once the paper wrapping is removed, it can be sterilized if necessary by steam, X-rays, or ethylene oxide, in accordance with standards EN 554, EN 552, and EN 550, respectively.
