The products are equivalent and have the same formulation and ingredients. They are designed to provide the same eye care support and can be used in a similar way. Protects the eye surface overnight. Very little tear fluid is produced during sleep, which makes regular lubrication with eye drops impossible overnight. HYLO NIGHT® was specially developed for the night-time protection of the eye surface. This soft and smooth eye ointment spreads easily over irritated eye surfaces and, thanks to its vitamin A content, soothes the sensation of burning, dryness and eye fatigue. HYLO NIGHT® does not contain preservatives and is therefore very well tolerated. The concentrated ointment has a shelf life of 6 months after opening. HYLO NIGHT® is suitable as a night-time supplement to HYLO® eye drops for all stages of dry eyes. Soft eye ointment with vitamin A Vitamin A is an essential nutrient for our body, important for regulating growth and protecting mucous membranes, for example. Different stages of dry eyes Dry eyes, also known as sicca syndrome, are characterized by various symptoms such as burning, redness, or itching; the eyes may feel tired or irritated. For mild to moderate symptoms, moisturizing eye drops provide quick relief. For patients with more severe or chronic symptoms, special gel drops with high viscosity are recommended, as they adhere to the surface of the eye for a long period of time. In addition, applying an ophthalmic ointment overnight can provide intensive lubrication for all forms of dry eye and support the regeneration of the stressed ocular surface. Application:Step 1: Tilt your head back slightly and pull your lower eyelid slightly away from your eye with the finger of one hand. Step 2: With your other hand, hold the tube vertically above your eye. Apply gentle pressure on the tube to inject a small amount of ointment into the conjunctival sac. Step 3: Close your eyelids slowly. Any excess ointment that leaks can be removed with a compress or cloth.
