Product features: EpiTrain Pain-relieving elbow bandage Intended purpose: The EpiTrain is a medical device. The elbow brace is a bandage for relieving and stabilizing the elbow joint. Indications: Post-traumatic or post-operative irritations, e.g. epicondylitis Osteoarthritis/Arthritis (Joint Wear and Tear/Joint Inflammation) Tendinopathy (Degenerative tendon disease) Tendomyopathy (muscle tendon disease) Prevention/Relapse prevention Application risks: The product is particularly effective during physical activity. Remove your bandage during extended periods of rest. After receiving a prescription for EpiTrain, use it only as indicated and in accordance with the further instructions of your healthcare professional*. If using it concurrently with other products, consult your healthcare professional or doctor beforehand. Do not make any modifications to the product yourself, as this may prevent it from working as expected or could cause health problems. Warranty and liability are excluded in such cases. Avoid contact with greasy and acidic products, ointments or lotions. All aids applied externally to the body can, if they fit too tightly, lead to local pressure sores or, in rare cases, constrict blood vessels or nerves. If you notice any changes or increasing discomfort while wearing the product, discontinue use and consult your doctor. Contraindications: No significant side effects are known. However, in the case of the following conditions, the use of this product is only recommended after consulting your doctor: Skin diseases/&ndash%%%injuries in the treated area of the body, especially in cases of inflammation, as well as raised scars with swelling, redness and increased warmth. Sensory disturbances in the arm. Circulatory disorders of the arm. Lymphatic drainage disorders – also unclear soft tissue swellings distant from the applied aid. Instructions for use: Putting on the EpiTrain: To easily apply the bandage, fold the upper part outwards until the cutouts for the internal massage pads are visible. Then grasp the bandage at the pad insertion point and pull it over the elbow. Ensure that the outer bony prominence (epicondyle) is positioned in the pads recess, as is the inner bony prominence. Finally, fold the upper edge of the bandage back into its original position. Detaching the EpiTrain: To easily remove the bandage, grasp it at the lower end in the area of the pad welding and pull it towards your hand. Cleaning instructions: Please use a mild detergent and a laundry bag. Never expose your product to direct heat or cold. Also, refer to the instructions on the sewn-in label at the top of your product. Regular care ensures optimal performance. Instructions for reuse: This product is intended solely for your use. Warranty: The legal regulations of the country where the product was purchased apply. If you suspect a warranty claim, please contact the person from whom you purchased the product first. The product must be cleaned before making a warranty claim. Failure to follow the instructions for handling and maintaining the EpiTrain may impair or void the warranty. Warranty is excluded in the following cases: inappropriate use Failure to follow the instructions of the specialist staff unauthorized product modification. Reporting obligation: Due to regional legal regulations, you are required to report any serious incident involving the use of this medical device immediately to both the manufacturer and the BfArM (Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices).
