epinorm GEL Description A sterile medical device for topical use intended for the treatment of skin lesions during secondary healing, promoting the natural re-epithelialization process. It is particularly indicated for perineal lacerations resulting from childbirth, aiming to facilitate functional re-epithelialization of the damaged tissue, thereby counteracting sensory hyper-innervation and preventing abnormal fibrous tissue formation. It is also useful for wounds resulting from surgical incisions (episiotomy, cesarean section, skin lesions resulting from laparoscopic surgery, and other minor surgical procedures). How to use According to medical advice, as a guideline, apply a thin layer of gel to the affected area twice a day. Warnings The product is intended for use on damaged skin. It is not recommended for individuals already sensitized to the components present in the formulation. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date. Do not use if the package is opened or damaged as the sterility of the product is compromised. Reusing the single-use medical device may compromise its performance.
