Product features: Epibac Alkaline ear cleaner for dogs and cats with chlorhexidine and Tris-EDTA Epibac is a well-tolerated ear cleaner. Regular, thorough ear cleaning is especially important when bacterial infections of the outer ear canal are present. This deprives the bacteria of their food source and allows for the effective use of antibiotics. With a pH of 8, Epibac is also suitable for ear cleaning when topical antibiotic treatment is being administered, as antibiotics are most effective in an alkaline environment. The substances contained in Epibac do not cause any additional burning sensation in the ear canal during treatment, making regular cleaning easier. Composition: Propylene glycol, chlorhexidine digluconate, witch hazel water, ribwort plantain extract, aloe vera, Tris-EDTA Chlorhexidine digluconate reduces the burden of an altered skin flora. It is non-irritating at low concentrations. Tris-EDTA enhances the effect of chlorhexidine digluconate. Propylene glycol has cerumenolytic and moisturizing properties. Witch hazel water and ribwort plantain extract nourish and soothe irritated skin. Aloe vera leaves a pleasant feeling on the skin. Application: Pour the solution into the ear canal and massage the base of the ear to loosen and flush out the cerumen (earwax). Carefully remove the discharged material with a cotton ball or gauze (do not use cotton swabs). Thoroughly dry the outer areas of the ear canal and the outer ear. If necessary, repeat 1-2 times daily for at least 10 days. Notes: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. Durability: 24 months.
