EMOFIX Description Haemostatic ointment with barrier action indicated for the containment and prevention of haemorrhagic episodes of the skin and mucous membranes such as, for example: nosebleeds of even mild essential or traumatic origin, small skin wounds, etc. How to use Containment of the bleeding episode: apply a sufficient amount of ointment to cover the affected area. Prevention of recurrence of nosebleeds: apply the product twice daily for at least two weeks after the acute episode, or as directed by your doctor. If the product needs to be applied to the nasal mucosa, we recommend using the applicator cannula, included in the package. Clean the cannula thoroughly after each application and avoid shared use. Components Blend of saturated fatty acids, yeast protein extract, phosphatidylcholine, vitamin E acetate, beeswax, soybean oil, stearyl alcohol, calcium, potassium and magnesium chlorides, glyceryl monostearate, methyl and propyl parahydroxybenzoate, BHT. Warnings If you experience any adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult your doctor. Burning, itching, and runny nose may occur during the first few days of treatment, but these symptoms usually resolve as treatment continues. If this does not occur, discontinue use and consult your doctor. Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or tampered with (e.g., relabeled). Tampering with or defacement of the packaging may compromise the products safety. Do not use this product after the expiration date printed on the packaging. Keep Emofix out of the sight and reach of children. Conservation The expiry date indicated refers to the product in intact packaging, stored correctly. Close the tube tightly after use. It is best to store the product at room temperature, but no higher than 30°C. Exposure to temperatures other than those indicated may cause changes in the products firmness, without any loss of quality.
