James M. Russell has a philosophy degree from the University of Cambridge, a postgraduate qualification in critical theory and has taught at the Open University in the UK. He is the author of A Travellers Guide to Infinity and co-creator and editor of The Travellers Guide to the Cosmos series, which includes The Travellers Guide to Mars and The Travellers Guide to the Big Bang. He is also consultant editor on Million Dollar Maths (Atlantic Books, 2018) and has edited a wide range of popular science books. He lives in north London with his wife, daughter and two cats.
