Product description EFEMIA Pessary for urinary incontinence in women Efemia is a support pessary for stress urinary incontinence. Efemia is designed to support the urethra through the vaginal wall using two support rings. The rings support the urethral knee located in the mid-urethra as the urethra and bladder neck descend under increased intra-abdominal pressure. The two support rings are spaced the same distance apart as the width of the TVT tape. The length of the bladder support holder is designed to keep the support rings in the same position as the TVT tape. The holder holds the device in place, preventing it from being pushed too far into the vagina. The shape of the rings ensures that the device is always effective regardless of the direction the holder is directed, thereby minimizing user error. The product is easy to insert and remove, just like a tampon. Efemia is a reusable pessary and can be used up to 16 hours a day for at least 3 months. Clean with soap and water, you can also boil it. The Efemia Support Pessary is available in three different sizes: 30 mm, 35 mm, and 40 mm. A starter kit containing all three sizes is prescribed, and women can try them out at home during activities when experiencing urinary incontinence. Once they find the right size, they are prescribed one size every three months. Efemia support pessary is a class IIb medical device.Material : 100% pure medical grade silicone.
