Doppelherz Vitamin C 1000 + D3 + Zinc provides 1000 mg of vitamin C in combination with 1000 IU of vitamin D3 (= 25 µg of vitamin D3) and 12 mg of zinc to support the normal function of the immune system. An adequate supply of nutrients plays an important role in a strong immune system and healthy defenses. The body cannot store certain vitamins for long. For example, if large amounts of vitamin C are ingested at once, the body excretes some of it unused. Our bodies can produce vitamin D through regular exposure of the skin to sunlight. However, this endogenous production is often insufficient in our latitudes, especially during the winter months. Vitamins C, D, and zinc contribute to the normal function of the immune system.
