It works quickly and reliably against lice and nits. This effectively stops their further transmission and eliminates the bothersome itching. Dimet® 20 can be prescribed by a pediatrician on a prescription covered by health insurance for children up to 12 years of age. How does Dimet® 20 work? Dimet 20 works through a dual mechanism that acts purely physically on the lice and their eggs, making it very well tolerated.
