What is DESCOMED OIL BATH suitable for? DESCOMED OIL BATH is recommended as a supportive treatment for very dry, flaky, and irritated skin. It is suitable for daily skin care in incontinent patients, patients with a colostomy, and bedridden individuals for pressure ulcer prevention. The ultra-thin protective film on the skin promotes better recovery while simultaneously neutralizing allergic and inflammatory skin reactions. Application and dosage For a full bath, add 20–30 ml of DESCOMED OIL BATH to the bathwater. For a shower, apply the oil bath directly to the skin while showering. If a stronger moisturizing effect is desired, the dosage can be increased accordingly. After the bath or shower, the skin should only be patted dry gently to avoid unnecessarily reducing the protective film. Hot showers and vigorous drying should be avoided. Special notes DESCOMED OIL BATH is dermatologically tested. The product contains natural oils, which may result in a brownish sediment forming at the bottom due to phase separation.
