Deltatic 35 cm antiparasitic collar for very small dogs COMPOSITION A 35 cm (15.90 g) collar contains: Active substance: Deltamethrin ……………………….0.636 g INDICATIONS The collar demonstrates: - Repellent effect (anti-feeding) for 5 months in the case of sand flies (Phlebotomus perniciosus) - Repellent effect for 6 months for common mosquitoes (Culex pipiens) The collar prevents: - Tick infestation for 6 months. - Flea infestation for 4 months. Repellent (anti-feeding) efficacy against Phlebotomus spp has been proven, so it can be considered as part of the Leishmaniasis and common mosquitoes of the Culex pipiens family prevention program. TARGET SPECIES Very small dogs (0 – 5 kg) METHOD AND ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION One collar per dog. The 35 cm collar should be used on very small dogs. It fits dogs with a neck circumference of up to 28 cm. Anti-strangulation safety RECOMMENDATIONS ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION Remove the collar from the packaging and peel off the protective tape. Adjust the collar around the animals neck without tightening it too much. Two fingers should fit between the collar and the dogs neck. Insert the end through the buckle and cut the end leaving 5 cm free. This collar is designed with a safety locking mechanism (anti-strangulation safety). In the unlikely event that a dog gets caught, the dogs strength alone is enough to widen the collar and allow for quick release. SPECIAL WARNINGS, IF APPLICABLE Read the package leaflet before use.
