On the other hand, its attapulgite content helps treat the severity and duration of diarrhea in animals. Its properties improve stool consistency and prevent dehydration in chronic cases. Pharmadiet Daforte acts as a bactericide. It is indicated for eliminating viral infections or intestinal parasites. Daforte Plus contains Enterococcus faecium. This probiotic bacteria, or fermented fiber, is ideal for promoting better intestinal health and protecting against future complications. Furthermore, by improving the functioning of the digestive system, the animals body absorbs essential nutrients more effectively, thus supporting its immune system. It also helps to rebalance the gut flora. This suspension contains FOS (fructooligosaccharides) and MOS (mannan-oligosaccharides). Daforte Plus 50 ml Oral Gel is indicated for animals suffering from acute diarrhea, whether of bacterial, parasitic, or viral origin. It can be administered to cats, dogs, ferrets, rodents, or reptiles. Instructions for use Administer orally using the dosing syringe. Shake well before use. Cats: 2 ml for a weight of 5 kg. 4 ml for a weight greater than 5 kg. Dogs, ferrets, rodents, rabbits, and reptiles: administer 0.4 ml per kilogram of body weight. Up to 5 kg, administer 2 ml; from 5 kg to 10 kg, administer 4 ml; from 10 kg to 20 kg, administer 8 ml divided into two doses per day; and from 20 kg onwards, administer 10 ml divided into two doses per day.
