Curasept Biosmalto Sensitive Teeth Toothpaste Description Biosmalto is composed of two active ingredients in microcrystalline form: fluorohydroxyapatite and the Bio-Active Complex, composed of biomimetic hydroxyapatite substituted with magnesium, strontium, and carbonate ions, conjugated with chitosan. The combined action of these microcrystals gives Biosmalto a high level of bioactivity, which not only protects and rebuilds the hard tissue of permanent teeth by occluding exposed dentinal tubules and reducing painful sensitivity, but also ensures greater resistance to acid attacks from bacteria, foods, and beverages, and gastroesophageal reflux. Strontium chloride enhances its desensitizing effect. It is particularly indicated for individuals with dentin hypersensitivity and those particularly predisposed to caries, erosion, and abrasion of enamel and dentin.
