Guduchi, botanically known as Tinospora cordifolia, is a perennial climbing plant with heart-shaped leaves and small yellow flowers. Its stem develops numerous aerial roots that hang down like tentacles. In Ayurvedic medicine, the stem, root, sap, and leaves are used. Churna simply means powder in Sanskrit and refers either to a mixture of ground herbs and/or minerals, or—as in this case—to a single ground herb. Guduchi is also available as herbal capsules from Cosmoveda or as a sweetened instant tea containing Guduchi. Recommended intake Take 1/3 teaspoon (equivalent to a maximum of 1 g each) of Guduchi Churna with hot water three times a day between meals. The daily intake contains approximately 2.5–3 g of herbal powder. Do not exceed the stated recommended daily intake.
