Product purpose A veterinary antiparasitic medicinal product for dogs for the treatment and control of infestations with common gastrointestinal parasites, including tapeworms (Echinococcus spp., Taenia spp., Dipylidium caninum – mature and late immature forms), roundworms (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina – mature and immature forms), hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala) and whipworms (Trichuris vulpis). Product characteristics This product demonstrates a broad spectrum of antiparasitic activity against common gastrointestinal parasites in dogs, including tapeworms, roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms. The combination of praziquantel, pyrantel pamoate, and fenbendazole effectively combats mature and some immature parasites. The mechanism of action of the active ingredients leads to paralysis, paralysis, and expulsion of the parasites from the gastrointestinal tract. Properly adjusted dosing allows for a single deworming treatment, while regular use every three months helps reduce the risk of reinfestation. The tablets can be administered without prior fasting, directly into the mouth, or mixed with food. In the case of dogs in poor condition (emaciated, weakened), consult a veterinarian before using the product. Determine the dogs body weight as accurately as possible to select the correct dose. Wash your hands after administering the product; in case of accidental ingestion by a person, seek medical advice immediately and show the leaflet or packaging. People with known hypersensitivity to praziquantel, pyrantel embonate or fenbendazole should avoid contact with the product. Do not use concurrently with products containing piperazine, organic phosphorus compounds, diethylcarbamazine, morantel or levamisole due to the risk of interactions. Fleas are intermediate hosts of the tapeworm Dipylidium caninum, therefore flea control should also be implemented to reduce the risk of re-infestation. If you suspect that the treatment is not effective, consult your veterinarian and consider a stool test. Dispose of medicines and tablet waste in accordance with your national waste collection system; do not throw them in the trash or pour them into the sewer system. The product can be used in pregnant dogs; in nursing dogs, use only after a benefit-risk assessment by a veterinarian.
