Cerulean Description Auricular solution with ceruminolytic and rebalancing activity for dogs and cats. The complete formula offers a triple action: - earwax solvent, due to the combined presence of perhydrosqualene, a powerful ceruminolytic, non-irritating to the delicate epithelia of the ear canal, and isopropyl myristate, a fatty, non-toxic and hypoallergenic solvent; - sanitizing and odor reducing, thanks to tea tree essential oil, helps create an environment unfavorable to the proliferation of bacteria and yeast and the attack of pests such as flies, mosquitoes, etc.; - soothing and repairing, thanks to bisabolol and marigold and helichrysum extracts. Cerulen is particularly useful for cleaning before applying topical ear medications. How to use When using Cerulen for the first time, open the bottle and insert the adapter fully into the neck of the bottle. Once attached, the adapter does not need to be removed. Hold the vial upright and insert the tip of the syringe into the appropriate slot on the adapter. Make sure the plunger is fully inserted into the syringe. Turn the vial upside down with the syringe inserted and slowly pull the plunger, allowing the solution to flow out to the desired amount. If you withdraw excess solution, return the vial to an upright position and slowly empty the excess amount back into the vial. Place the bottle back in an upright position, remove the syringe from the adapter and gently instill the contents into the animals ear. Gently instill the solution into the ear canal of each ear using the appropriate syringe, at a rate of: 1 notch (equivalent to 0.125 ml) for cats; 3 notches (equivalent to 0.375 ml) for small dogs; 5-8 points (equivalent to 0.625 - 1 ml) for medium and large dogs. Massage the base of the ear from bottom to top to help remove debris. For best results, leave the product on for at least 15 minutes. Remove the earwax and debris that has appeared using gauze or a hygienic napkin (avoid using sharp instruments or cotton swabs to avoid injuries inside the ear canal). Shaking the animals head helps dislodge debris from the deep portion of the external auditory canal. At the end of the procedure, a micro-oily film remains on the inner surface of the auricle, which helps provide an additional protective barrier against external harmful agents.
