The antiseptic gauze compress with chlorhexidine digluconate prevents and fights infections by controlling the wound microenvironment. They do not contain PVC. How to use Clean and dry the affected area thoroughly. Remove the patch from the packaging. Remove one of the two protective wings and apply the first half of the patch, centering the gauze over the wound. Remove the second protective wing and finish applying the patch.
