The herbal tea Bilek is a high-quality natural product consisting of 100% loose dried leaves and flowers of garden sage (Salviae officinalis folium). The plant has a strong pleasant aroma, which is due to the essential oil contained in it. Its leaves also contain terpenes, tannins, flavonoids, organic acids, vitamin B1, vitamin C, and other valuable substances. The aromatic infusion of garden sage soothes the upper respiratory tract with its antimicrobial and antitussive action. It relieves stomach pain and has an anti-inflammatory effect on the digestive system, liver, and gallbladder. The infusion is also extremely suitable for external use – for gargling and rinsing in inflammatory processes of the oral mucosa. The product is plant-based and suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Preparation method: Steep 1 tablespoon of loose leaves and flowers of garden sage in 400 ml of boiling water for 30 minutes at room temperature. Strain through gauze. The infusion’s shelf life is 12 hours, provided it is stored in a refrigerator at a temperature of 20-8°C without freezing. Drink 100 ml of the strained infusion 4 times a day before meals. Not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding without consulting a medical specialist. Do not use as a substitute for a varied diet.
