Description Caraway fruit ( Carvi fructus ) is a medicinal product in the form of an infusion herb, used as a digestive aid and a mild carminative. Caraway fruit can be given to adults and children over 12 years of age. Composition The active substance of the drug is caraway fruit ( Carvi fructus ). 1 g of the product contains 1 g of caraway fruit. Dosage Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any further questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.Cumin fruit is taken orally in the form of an infusion. To prepare the infusion: Pour 1 cup of boiling water (150 ml) over 1/2 teaspoon (about 1.8 g) of caraway seeds, crushed immediately before use (e.g., in a mortar or in a bowl using a wooden stick). Cover and steep for 10 to 15 minutes, then strain.Adults and children over 12 years of age: drink 1 cup of warm infusion 1 to 3 times a day. Action Cumin fruit has a mild carminative effect. Indications Supportive in digestive disorders such as flatulence and feelings of fullness. Side effects Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
