It acts as a keratoplastic to aid in the regeneration of the stratum corneum. Thanks to its high aloe vera content, it deeply moisturizes the coat. It has emollient effects, leaving the skin softer and healthier. It is used to treat seborrheic dermatitis, a condition that causes flakes to adhere to the skin and hair. It is also useful for dry seborrhea. It improves its symptoms, reducing dandruff, hyperpigmentation, redness, and hair loss or alopecia. This product contains ichthyol lactate with sulfur-rich oil, an ingredient with keratolytic properties. It works as a complementary treatment for canine oily seborrhea, which is characterized by excessive oiliness and a dull coat. It relieves discomfort caused by irritation, dryness, and the constant urge to scratch. It has comedolytic action, so it helps slow down the formation of comedones or makes them disappear if they have already formed. It contains salicylic acid, a component that helps maintain the balance of the skin barrier. Menthol has been added to the formula to soothe and refresh the skin. This substance relieves itching, neutralizes odors, and has analgesic properties. The formulation also contains mild surfactants and liposomes that help condition and improve skin elasticity. Who is it for? Calier Dermitol shampoo is indicated for cleaning pets, especially dogs suffering from seborrheic processes (dry seborrhea, oily seborrhea and seborrheic dermatitis). Instructions for use First, thoroughly wet the dogs coat with warm water. Then, apply the shampoo and massage until it lathers. Rinse and reapply, leaving the product on for 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse again to remove all traces of the product. Contraindications There is no information regarding side effects from using the shampoo. If any adverse reaction is observed, it is advisable to discontinue use and consult a veterinarian. Similarly, if symptoms persist after completing the treatment, it is advisable to take your pet to the veterinarian.
