LH SOAP antiseptic-antibacterial, preferably used when a cleansing action is also required. Particularly suitable for disinfecting the hands of medical and paramedical personnel working in surgical departments and in all professional activities that require rigorous hand asepsis. Suitable for washing and disinfecting in: hospitals, nursing homes, schools, kindergartens, barracks, retirement homes, hotels, canteens, industries and generally in community centers. How to use: it is used pure. The contact time must not be less than 2 minutes. Characteristics: semi-dense, clear, light blue solution, foaming when shaken, scented; pH 6 ± 0.5, soluble in water in all ratios, specific gravity: 1.020 ± 0.05. Medical surgical facility. The product is well tolerated locally even after repeated treatments over several days. Applying the product to the skin does not cause any inflammatory or allergic reactions. The formula contains emollient and protective substances that allow it to be used several times a day. The spectrum of action is broad and includes mainly Gram-positive bacteria; it also acts on Gram-negative bacteria, fungi and lipophilic viruses. The action of the quaternary is consequent to different actions: - on proteins, of which it causes denaturation; - intervening in metabolic reactions, with action on enzymes at the level of the cytoplasmic membrane; - on cell permeability: benzalkonium chloride is absorbed onto the outer layers of the cytoplasmic membrane where it has a lysing action. Available in 500, 1000, 5000 ml polyethylene bottles. Toxicity: Tests on healthy skin: patch tests did not cause any reaction after 96 hours of contact; repeated tests after 2 weeks did not reveal any intolerability even after a further 48 hours of contact. Warnings: irritating to eyes. Keep out of reach of children. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and consult a doctor. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the label. For external use only. Do not ingest. Do not use on broken skin or mucous membranes. Do not use simultaneously with anionic soaps or surfactants. In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show the label where possible). Do not reuse the container. Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use. Store the product in its original packaging in a cool, clean, dry place, away from high heat sources and out of direct sunlight. Keep container tightly closed and away from food, feed and drink. The shelf life (36 months) refers to the product in its intact container and stored correctly.
