BLUpan lipid plus OSD eye drops – intensive care for very dry and irritated eyes BLUpan lipid plus OSD eye drops are suitable for the intensive symptomatic treatment of very dry and chronically dry, irritated, and sensitive eyes. They form a clear, viscoelastic protective film on the cornea, which moisturizes and protects the eyes surface without impairing vision. Typical symptoms of dry eye (sicca syndrome) such as redness, itching, burning, tearing, a foreign body sensation, or a particularly sensitive eye surface can thus be noticeably and lastingly relieved. The drops are preservative-free and therefore well-tolerated, even with prolonged use. BLUpan lipid plus OSD can be used with both hard and soft contact lenses without having to remove them beforehand. Effects and areas of application The main active ingredient, sodium hyaluronate (sodium salt of hyaluronic acid), binds water and provides intensive and lasting lubrication of the eyes surface. Dexpanthenol (provitamin B5), with its high water-binding capacity, further supports the lubrication and care of the eye and enhances the moisturizing properties of sodium hyaluronate. Phospholipids from natural soybean oil contribute to the regeneration of the natural lipid layer of the tear film and help reduce tear film evaporation. BLUpan lipid plus OSD is particularly helpful for discomfort caused by contact lenses, mechanical stress, environmental stressors (air conditioning, wind, cold, dryness, air pollution), intensive screen work, long car journeys, age-related decrease in tear production, and irritation from pollen, pet dander, or dust. Ingredients Sodium hyaluronate, dexpanthenol, phospholipids, soybean oil, vitamin E, vitamin A, oleic acid, glycerin, carbomer, citric acid, water for injection. Application To open, completely remove the tamper-evident seal using the pre-cut tab and then pull the cap upwards. Tilt your head back slightly, look upwards, and gently pull down your lower eyelid. Hold the bottle vertically with the dropper opening pointing downwards and instill 1–2 drops into the conjunctival sac of the eye 3–5 times daily. Then close your eye slowly to allow the liquid to spread evenly across the surface of the eye.
