The product is a preparation consisting of a sterile isotonic ophthalmic solution containing sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, without preservatives, with the aim of integrating deficient tear secretion and restoring the physiological conditions of the tear film. Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide that is part of numerous tissues in the body. It has the property of adhering to the ocular surface, protecting, moistening and lubricating it. Due to its mucoadhesive properties, it remains on the surface of the eye for a long time and stabilizes the tear film. The amino acids L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride and L-leucine, contained in the product, increase the lubrication of the ocular surface and can contribute to improving the protection of epithelia subjected to various types of stress.
