Instructions for using the Blephasteam® heated eye mask The Blephasteam® heated eye mask is used to liquefy thickened meibomian gland secretions and relieve mucus buildup. For use, insert the moistened water carrier into the mask, which has been warmed for approximately 3-4 minutes. Duration of use and recommendations The heated eye mask is worn for 10 minutes. This allows the loosened meibomian gland secretions to be easily removed after the mask is taken off, through eyelid massage and hygiene. It is recommended to perform this treatment twice daily, with a minimum interval of 4 hours between applications. Safety instructions and contact lenses Before use, contact lenses must be removed to ensure optimal results and safety. The Blephasteam® heated eye mask has been extensively tested and approved to enable safe daily use.
