The formula was developed to supplement childrens diets with live bacterial cultures suspended in sunflower oil. The recommended daily dose of the product provides the body with no less than 100 million bacterial cells. The neutral-tasting BioGaia® Protectis Baby drops are intended for direct consumption. If used on young children, the preparation can be added to milk or other foods. They do not alter the taste of food or beverages.
