The blend consists of oils naturally rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids. This provides the body with alpha-linolenic acid (Omega 3), which the body cannot produce itself. A daily intake of 2 g (4.3 ml/1 tsp Omega Orange) contributes to maintaining normal blood cholesterol levels. The base of the blend is our particularly mild, 3D-filtered linseed oil. Flower pollen lends the oil a pleasantly subtle sweetness. Omega Orange is excellent for use in muesli, quark dishes and smoothies. This oil is not suitable for heating! Shake well before use! Recipe suggestion: Energy quark with Omega Orange Contents: 250 g low-fat quark 1-2 tablespoons Omega Orange 2 tablespoons of milk 1 tbsp blossom honey to sweeten to taste 2-3 tablespoons of 6-grain muesli or ground nuts Fresh seasonal fruit or dried fruit and berries as desired. Mix the low-fat quark with the milk and oil until smooth. Stir in blossom honey to taste. If using dried fruit, stir it into the quark mixture as well. Arrange half of the quark in a glass or cereal bowl. Layer on the muesli and nuts. Cover everything completely with the remaining quark. Finally, top with fresh fruit or berries as desired. The energy quark can be eaten immediately. However, it is also ideal as an overnight breakfast quark: Simply stir all the ingredients together, store in the refrigerator overnight, and eat in the morning.
